My Lego Network BIONICLE Campaign

Roxtus

Adapted by Michael Larson. Edited by Jeff Douglas.

Following Strakk’s words the Agori ended up finding Atakus, an Agori of the Rock Tribe. Although Atakus was small in stature, he was extremely strong and savage. He served the brutal rock tribe of Roxtus. Atakus knew that his tribe was the toughest and sometimes he underestimated his foes.

The Agori walked toward Atakus and he began to speak, “The Skrall will lay siege to all that stand in our way!” He continued, “We here in the Rock Tribe have watched from a distance, with some amusement, as you’ve gone from tribe to tribe trying to gain their trust. Unlike the other Agori, the Skrall are direct: our loyalty is temporary and for sale. You pay me, I’ll get you to Skrall. You pay him and he’ll pledge to fight with his seal. It’s that easy.”

Atakus was saying that the traveler must buy this ‘Atakus’ Mark’ before the Skrall would even think of speaking to him. Since the traveler did not have enough Thornax grown as of yet, he decided to try to speak to the Skrall to see if it were true.

But it seemed Atakus was right. The Skrall coldly said to me, “Come back later. You must have more honor with the Agori before gaining an audience with the Skrall.”

So the traveler waited until enough Thornax plants bore fruit for trade before returning to Atakus. He eventually gathered 50 Thornax Fruits to trade for Atakus’ Mark.

Once this was done, the Skrall would now allow him to speak with them. The Skrall were many. As custom, Skrall were not named until they achieve great standing in the Roxtus Tribe. Each Skrall was like many of his brothers - vicious, cruel and nearly unbeatable in the arena.

This one said, “We are Skrall, for we are many. We will never surrender.” He continued, “Pay me and you’ll have my seal. There is nothing more to say that does not end in your defeat.”

The traveler heard what he wanted for his seal. Oddly, it cost less than Atakus’ Mark. He asked for 25 Thornax Fruits, but now he had to wait for more to grow.

At last he finally grew enough Thornax to buy the seal. Now the Agori had all the seals of the Glatorian he needed, and at last he could complete the Glatorian Contract. Gresh quickly sent word, saying, “I can’t believe it! You’ve managed to bring the Agori tribes together in action. Amazing. Go quickly - Take the completed contract to Raanu.”

The Agori hurried to Raanu. He gave the contract to Raanu who said, “By the flames, you’ve done it. You’ve managed to do what no Agori has done since… since… well perhaps ever, you’ve gotten the tribes to pledge to work together. Unbelievable. The bone hunters would be foolish to attack us now. Vulcanus is safe, thanks to you. Take this - it’s the highest honor we Agori can bestow on a hero like yourself. Thank you.”

The journey had come to a close. He had finally brought together the tribes on a contract to protect Vulcanus from the Bone Hunter raids. The Agori collected his final Agori Honor upgrade, and his badge turned to a shimmering gold.

Raanu smiled. “Hero of the Agori, it has a good sound to it, doesn’t it? I wanted to ask you one last favor. While you wander the sands of Bara Magna - if you wouldn’t mind setting a few traps for the bone hunters that haven’t heard of your great Glatorian pledge. You can take their Bone Hunter blades once you trap them. They are a symbol of great pride on Bara Magna.”

Raanu gave the traveler a blueprint which explained how to trap bone hunters in the desert. The Agori quickly built a trap out of the few materials he had from before he began his quest.

Many days later, he checked back to the area where he had set up his Bone Hunter Trap. It seems that the trap he had set up has yielded him several Bone Hunter Blades. After trapping enough Bone Hunters to gather 5 blades, he traded them to Raanu to get an Agori Trophy Blueprint. At last, the journey had come to an end.
