The Metru Nui Coliseum stood tall, the heart of a sprawling web that covered the furthest reaches of the ruined city. Once, the Coliseum was the home of Turaga Dume, Matoran sporting competitions, and Naming Day ceremonies… now it was home to something very different and very dangerous.

Thousands of Visorak crawled up and down the building’s walls, walls so thick with the creatures that the original building could hardly be seen beneath them. In Dume’s personal chambers far above, a squad of Vohtarak bowed low, trembling.

“I assume you are here to tell me that Sidorak and the hordes have been successful, and the Toa have been recaptured?” a voice above them snarled. “Because you know how I feel about failure.”

A spinning wheel of energy formed and erupted from Roodaka’s launcher. The projectile struck the squad commander with such force that the spider lurched onto its back, where it writhed and spasmed in agony. The spider screeched, and as the convulsions gave way to death throes, its legs twitched and waved weakly in the air.

“The success of my plans requires the six Toa…” the Visorak viceroy snarled. She placed an armored heel on the Visorak, crunching its corpse against the Coliseum floor. “And by Makuta’s black heart, I shall have them! This Roodaka swears!”
