2003 - Bohrok-Kal Promo Comic: The Squad

They were Bohrok-Kal.

They had found what they had sought.

The six Bohrok-Kal stood assembled in the desert of Po-Wahi, where the Pahrak-Kal had summoned them. “The Bahrag are waiting beyond this barrier,” it gloated. “These stones have blocked the entrance to the nests, but my plasma will deal with them.”

For thousands of years, there had been any number of tunnels and tunnel networks camouflaged in the landscape of Mata Nui, waiting where none would find them. Any of these would have led to the Bahrag, but after the recent earthquake, only one remained functional.

“The Krana Ca-Kal senses their presence below.”

“Then waste no more time,” the Tahnok-Kal ordered. “Our quest is at an end. Our destiny has been achieved.”

Plasma energies leaped from Pahrak-Kal’s shields, and the stone began to melt…
